IDEAL TONI The Ideal Toni doll, which was introduced in 1949, was an advertising doll for the Toni Home Permanent. Toni is made of hard plastic. The earliest dolls wore a nylon wig but later the dolls had rooted hair, blue sleep eyes (and also in other colours) and small rosebud painted lips. Toni was loved by many doll collectors. Dolls almost always are found marked as follows: P-90 = 14", P-91 = 16", P-92 = 19", P-93 = 21" & P-94 = 23" tall. |
